Adrian grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where the long summer days and endless skies first captured his attention for light and composition. In his teens his mother bought him a Kodak Advantix point and shoot camera and he started taking it with him everywhere, documenting his days and experimenting with the 3 different frame sizes that the camera provided.
Adrian’s love for street photography began in 2007 after moving to Toronto and studying at Toronto Metropolitan University. During a photography assignment he stumbled upon the work of legends Richard Kalvar, Trent Parke and Jesse Marlow on the In-Public website (now Up Photographers) and he was instantly hooked. The way that these master photographers captured seemingly mundane moments so beautifully (and often humorously) woke him up to the tiny visual miracles happening around him every day. He has been chasing those miracles ever since.
Adrian now divides his time between Toronto and Ottawa and works as a Director and Cinematographer in film and television. His camera is always by his side.
